Positive: The location was very good. Minutes from the sea, historic buildings, gardens and good places to eat The Villa was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable. Packed with historical features. Parking was literally a minute from the property.

Super city centre location, large apartment with plenty of space to chill, when not out exploring Funchal and the surrounding area. Plenty of kitchen space if you like to buy locale produce and cook at home.Bedrooms big, but need some attention. Overall, you are paying for location.

A unique Villa, great location, great hosts. Positive: A very special Villa with historical connections to Madeira. The location is central but not noisy and with a private garden for relaxing and outdoor dining. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. The apartment is very spacious with a huge amount of storage and furnished to a very high standard. Excellent hosts who were able to extend our check-out time - much appreciated. Negative: Air-con in the lounge area was not working - which got a bit hot. Opening the garden patio doors kept the room a bit cooler
