Villa Favila by Madeira Dream Stays

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Favila and would happily recommend it. Positive: The location is excellent, just a short walk from both the city centre of Funchal and the beach, making it easy to explore the area without relying on a car. The villa itself is perfect for two families. It is spacious, well-designed, and offers great privacy. We especially loved the outdoor barbecue area and the beautiful terrace. It's a great place to relax in the evenings. Negative: The only minor downside was the driveway to the villa. The road is quite steep, so driving up to the house can be challenging. It is much more comfortable with an SUV, while smaller cars may require a bit more confidence. That said, there is free public parking nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue for us.
